Quite like the look and feel Adam but wonder if you need to make sure that you've checked-out competitors and got a feel for the sorts of elements they have on their pages? Pictures play a very important part in conveying the experience here and you're lacking at the moment.. Also lacking is the Bham logo and the Bockleton leaf logo. Where you say 'welcome to Bockleton' I think you need to add 'hall' to make things clearer.. Background seems to lend itself to a feint bootprint' or similar to try and put over that 'outdoor ed' factor a little more..
I like the simplicity of this design, i like the colours and overall feel, although as andy said it seems to need some indication of an 'outdoorsy' feel. Overall though i like the colours and layout :)
I like the style of this, but as Andy says it needs more images to convey what Bockleton is all about. Your Art Page seems a bit plain / clinical. Perhaps this can be remedied by further use of images within the site. Otherwise I really like your use of typography, though do you think that possibly continued use of the stencil for your sub-navigation might work better?

ReplyDeleteLike the layout and text style (the stamp effect). Could do with giving a little more of an outdoor feel, through either colour scheme or imagery?
