Nice design and layout Peter.. Clear, adheres to column and grid layout, creative use of typefaces too. Like the ID you've created too. Wonder if anything wheter it needs a little more association with the 'theme' for this year somehow?
White on black is a challenge but the logo looks good. The pics zing from the black background. I find the font in the navigation buttons a little too artistic tbg, i know it matches the logo but it may need adusting a little to make it more 'user friendly' :)
I like the logo a lot however the colour scheme does not seem in-fitting with the theme. My suggestion would be to make the colours more bright and vibrant. This would make the site appeal more to kids.
I like the grid and overall layout a lot and it seems well thoughtout. Nice initial design.
