Lovely look and feel about these page designs Greg.. Nice that you've accommodated the text and image elements neatly within your visual scheme. Good use of typography and column and grid layouts.. Look fwd to seeing this progress!
I like this one Greg, the clean look I think reflects the theme that you have been given, without being overpowering. Clean and easy to locate navigation buttons as well which add to the design. The blue text though might benifit from a bit more contrast in the colour though in the content, just a thought in terms of readability, depends how much text you include I suppose.
I like this design and i think that it would really appeal to both adults and children. I think the way you can see the hills at the bottom on the inner page is looks really good, as the content box doesn't cover them up.
Very clean, well balanced design, Greg. My only criticism would be the rendering of the clouds on the homepage - specifically the 'big' cloud which throws the image out of balance as it is positioned above the focal point (the sun) - shrinking it and repositioning it more to the left (maybe) would make it more of an accent rather than an unecessary element competing for attention as the focal point. Very well balanced otherwise, though - appealing to your audience without detracting fromthe content.
